Franchise Action Network ALWAYS on top of Capitol Hill

FAN meets in Washington, D.C., to continue its support and protection for franchise models

FranServe CEO Alesia Visconti traveled to Washington, D.C., last month to participate in the annual Franchise Action Network (FAN) meeting hosted by the International Franchise Association (IFA). FranServe joined in on the yearly event in which IFA members discussed government policy and economic, health care and social issues impacting the franchise business model and the franchise community.

This gathering was well attended by franchise representatives from across the country who met with members of Congress, senators and their staffs on Capitol Hill. During the annual review of legislation, everyone participated in conversations to protect the current and future state of business for the franchise industry and small business owners.

FranServe is an active, committed supporter of the IFA and FAN. Visconti was both proud and honored, yet again, to join the nearly 400 attendees to support and empower the franchise community and bring meaningful change to their business.

“Franchise brands create over 7.6 million jobs and produce nearly $675 billion in economic output,” Visconti said. “During FAN, the franchise community truly comes together to support and protect the franchise model. FAN is one of the most effective tools that the IFA and the franchise community has to positively influence policy. Support is always needed to keep our business model intact.”
