FAQ Series: Do You Need Franchise Experience to Become a Franchise Consultant?

We’re always looking for new franchise consultants to join our ranks and our FranServe family. When we chat with potential consultants, we hear a lot of the same questions pretty regularly.
So, in blogs over the next couple of months, we’re going to answer some common questions that we hear. First up: Is franchise experience a necessity for a franchise consultant?
You might be surprised by the answer, but no. You don’t need to have previous experience within the franchise world to move into the role of a franchise consultant.
Some of our franchise consultants do have past experience as franchisees or in other franchise roles, but some do not. And we’ve found that people on both sides of the franchising fence can be equally as successful as franchise consultants.
