For Patrick McGinty, franchise consulting isn’t just a career – it’s a calling.

As the founder of FranVue and a seasoned entrepreneur, McGinty has spent decades helping others unlock financial freedom through scalable business models. His journey into franchising was sparked by a simple but powerful belief: “Success leaves clues, and franchising is one of the clearest blueprints for freedom and scalability.”

“My journey into franchising was born out of a passion for helping entrepreneurs build wealth through proven systems,” McGinty noted. “After years of building and scaling my own companies, I saw how many aspiring business owners wanted to be entrepreneurs but needed the right roadmap and support. Becoming a franchise consultant allowed me to connect those dots and guide people toward business models that fit their goals, lifestyle, and resources.”

Before stepping into the world of franchise consulting, McGinty was deeply involved in the unattended retail and vending industry, managing sales, marketing, and operations of 2,000+ machines.

“I built large teams, ran campaigns, and helped generate millions in revenue through strategic growth systems,” he noted. “But over time, I realized I wanted to empower people to find the right opportunity for them. Too many entrepreneurs were chasing the wrong opportunities because no one helped them evaluate the fit. Transitioning into franchise consulting allowed me to move from growing a vending business to building futures. It was a natural evolution of my passion for entrepreneurship and my experience in scaling businesses.”

That passion led to the launch of FranVue, a consulting firm that blends traditional franchise guidance with modern marketing intelligence. 

McGinty’s approach is anything but transactional. He begins with a discovery call to understand each client’s aspirations, investment range, and skill set. From there, he curates a shortlist of franchise models tailored to their needs and walks them through validation, funding, and due diligence. “My goal is to simplify a complex process and help people make smart, data-driven decisions,” he explained.

What sets McGinty apart is his firsthand experience. “I come from the trenches, not theory,” he said. Having built and scaled multiple companies, he understands both the dreams of franchisees and the challenges faced by franchisors. That dual perspective allows him to offer unfiltered, honest advice. “If something isn’t a fit, I’ll say it. Transparency builds trust, and trust builds success.”
