Franchising has always been a great avenue for veterans; thanks to the discipline and leadership skills they develop during their military service. Recently, Jarrod Nackley – president of Edgewater Franchise Advisors and a FranServe Affiliate Franchise Consultant for approximately eight years – placed a veteran client with HomeWell Care Services. This created the perfect opportunity to share with readers how Nackley helps clients and why HomeWell was the perfect fit.
“My career as a franchise consultant has been fulfilling personally and financially, and it has provided the lifestyle flexibility for me to spend the time I desire with my family,” Nackley said. “Helping others achieve their dreams is extremely rewarding.”
Nackley also seems to have a special talent for working with veterans.
“I have successfully placed veteran candidates in multiple categories,” he said. “Veterans tend to be strong franchise candidates for a number of reasons. They are passionate and dedicated to serving others – their country, their community and their fellow brothers and sisters in uniform. Like good entrepreneurs, veterans make a decision, stick to it and find a way to make it work regardless of the circumstances they are presented with.”
One of Nackley’s most recent veteran clients, Auguste Badiel, served in several roles in the U.S. Army. After retiring from the military, he was ready to fulfill his dream of owning his own business.
“Auguste had a particular interest in providing care for people due to a previous experience helping at a children’s home care company,” said Nackley.
With that information, Nackley immediately thought of HomeWell.
